Blackjack

If you play blackjack live, you shouldn't have any trouble transitioning to the online version, but here are the basics anyway.

The Basics

After getting to the screen, a circle will show up, with which you have to make your bets. You can bet as high as you'd like before dealing. After that, you will get two face-up cards, while the dealer gets one face-up card and one hidden card. You will then be given the chance to stand or hit and, in several cases, to split or double down.

Your goal would be to reach closer to a total of 21 compared to the dealer - and do not exceed it. Exceeding 21 will make you lose immediately, regardless of whether the dealer exceeds it or not. So, if it looks like the dealer will exceed it, do not hit. If you don't go over yourself and still think you need a higher total, hit again. Once you are happy with your hand, stand.

You are allowed to hit repeatedly until you exceed 21. If you want to, you can even double down and put an equal amount matching your first bet to get one more extra card. Now, if you get a hand with two cards that are of the exact same value, another possibility would be to make another bet before splitting. This entails using each original card to make two new hands.

Others

Keep in mind that every card's worth equals its own face value, aside from face cards, which are worth 10, and Aces, which are worth 1 or 11. Getting a 10-point card and an Ace as your first cards will give you a blackjack and a 3:2 win - provided the dealer doesn't have a blackjack, too, anyway.

If you see an Ace with the dealer, you also have the chance to get insurance. For just an extra 50% of your original bet, both of your bets can break-even, in case the dealer holds a blackjack. This bet holds the odds against you, though - remember that - so it would be best to avoid it at all costs.
